We are very exited to welcome athletes representing 41 nations to our little event. Old, young, male and female, you will all meet each other in Eidfjord in early August. 

For those of us that have been in triathlon for a while we know it´s a friendly sport. Those of us who organize Norseman know that it´s even more so for our little event.

Norseman is the biggest and baddest there is, says two times participant Fred Arthur Asdal. Now he has written the first Norwegian book about triathlon.

Well, this is my first posting here in this prestigious corner of the Norseman website. I will be writing here in the coming months leading up to the race in August and I am looking very much forward to it.

Thinking about summer in the mountains keeps us motivated and hopefully is helping inspire you to keep on training through the festive (and sometimes dark and cold!) season.

Our jury has once again had a very challenging job selecting the elite athletes. Some choices has been obvious some less so.

More than 1300 athletes have signed up for a chance at 500 places on the start line of the tenth anniversary edition of the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon in Eidfjord, Norway, in August 2012.

It is no longer possible to enroll for Norseman Xtreme Triathlon´s 10th anniversary edition.

So what happens next?

The tenth anniversary edition of the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon is set for August 4-5 2012. It promises to be a special celebration of ten years of a singular athletic challenge across a stunning landscape. Join us!
