The 2012 Elite Selection is Ready
Our jury has once again had a very challenging job selecting the elite athletes. Some choices has been obvious some less so.
All their individual input has been collected, summarized and sorted.
On the womens side two times Ironman World Championship age-group winner Lisbeth Olsen Kenyon is at the top spot.
Among the men 2009 runner-up and 2010 winner Henrik Oftedal is topping the list. If our jury are right in their predictions, the 2012 mens race may very well become a battle where the Danes try to recapture the Norwegian mountains.

The Jury
The jury's selection has been based on the information provided by the applicants, where needed additional information has been retrieved. The jury has consisted of five members, all with a strong relation to triathlon om Norway. All the members of the jury haven been working on an individual basis. The results have been compiled by removing the highest and lowest score and taking the average og the remaining three, creating a list where the top 50 men and top 12 women where given a slot in the elite list. This is identical to the system we used with great results for 2011.
The Lottery
The winners of the lottery will receive their confirmation mail during the weekend of November 4th.
